Summer has arrived! If you are looking to work on your tan while sipping on refreshing cocktails and enjoying delicious food poolside, look no further than the Treasure Bay pool and its Aqua Bar & Grill.

Treasure Bay’s infinity pool terrace and garden is the perfect place to relax, get some sun, and cool off with a refreshing dip in their two sparkling tropical pools.

The pool is complimentary to all hotel guests, as well as Elite & Select Players’ Club members. Day and Season Passes are available to purchase for those 21 years of age and older.

The terrace is ideal for relaxation, with plenty of lounge chairs sitting upon imported Brazilian tile, tropical landscaping, an infinity edge to the upper deck pool, and free poolside cabanas. Treasure Bay also has live entertainment by the infinity pool every Saturday from 1-5pm during the summer.

The Aqua Bar & Grill, conveniently located on the upper deck, offers a specialty menu with
drink and food specials throughout the summer. Starters, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and brick oven pizzas that some say are the are the best on the Coast, are available to curb your appetite.

You will want to start with an appetizer or two, with wings, chicken tenders, nachos, and Southwestern Spring Rolls as just some of the tasty options. From the grill you can get a grilled foot-long Nathan’s hotdog, a classic burger, or a grilled chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, on a sesame seed bun.

Aqua offers a unique spin with their grilled cheese which combines shredded mozzarella, cheddar cheese, chopped smokehouse bacon, and scallions on a grilled bagel. Their Reuben is perfectly cooked corned beef and pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on rye bread. You can also get grilled or fried chicken or shrimp wraps topped with yum yum sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, cilantro, and avocado.

The popular wood fire brick oven pizzas are also an excellent choice with a Meat Lovers, a Hawaiian, and a Garden veggie pie. You can also build your own from a variety of toppings. On my visit, I enjoyed the Meat Lovers pizza, which is topped with sausage, pepperoni, ham, and creamy mozzarella.

Aqua offers craft, domestic, and imported beers, frozen drinks such as a Strawberry Daquiri, Margarita, Hurricane, and a Pina Colada, as well as a variety of signature drinks. The Moonshine Mary is made with Tito’s Vodka & Zing Zang. The Chata Colada is a delicious combination of Rum Chata, Captain Morgan’s Rum, Pina Colada mix, and cinnamon. The Voodoo Jester combines Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice, and razzmatazz. On my visit I had the Island Girl that was crafted with Blue Chair Spice Coconut Rum, orange and pineapple juice, and mixed with Sprite. It was the perfect way to quench my thirst on a beautiful Gulf Coast day.

The Treasure Bay Hotel & Casino pool is open throughout the summer from 8am to 10pm daily. The Aqua Bar & Grill is open to anyone 11am to 7pm every day through Labor Day. The pool deck is also available for parties, weddings, and other events. For more information call 228-385-6017.
