with one of kind items all over town will keep your appetite satisfied and sense
of style happy. Situated on the Gulf of Mexico, the area is surrounded with
natural habitats from the beach to bayous. The Live Oak Bicycle Route that
families can use for a leisurely ride around town, kayak paths, fishing piers
and of course the alligator pond at Gulf Islands National Seashore. There are
always activities at numerous shops featuring working artists, live music at area
restaurants, the Ocean Springs Fresh Market each Saturday and festivals from
the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival to Cruisin’ the Coast.

Anderson family shop Shearwater Pottery has been a staple to town since the
early 1900’s. Families can watch the artists throw pottery, paint crafted pieces
and tour the gallery floor.
