As Mardi Gras floats roll all along the Coast, specialty shops are
parading themselves. They are rolling out great art, jewelry and apparel
selections only found here. Whether you are shopping for a special
dress to attend a ball, a gift for someone on the court, or a trinket to
take back home as a reminder of the Coast’s special holiday season,
you’ll find it in the string of specialty stores from Diamondhead to
Bay St. Louis to Pass Christian to Long Beach to Gulfport to Ocean
Springs to Pascagoula.
With tight schedules, even on vacation, stores are all about making
shopping experiences stress-free. Boutiques like Lee Tracy in Ocean

The Coast has a number of shopping districts in addition to the
downtown Biloxi one. Shoppers can find coastal art and other niceties
along Beach Boulevard, Second Street and Main Street in Bay St.
Louis. George’s Girls, for instance, is a purveyor of fine linens among
other things. Their Saints for Sinners metals are imported from Italy
and painted in New Orleans.

And since it is Mardi Gras season, be sure to pick up a king cake to add
to a gift basket. Sweet Stuff in Biloxi has a large selection of petit fours,
cupcakes and fudge in cases ready to go. Nezaty’s on Courthouse Road,
Gulfport, and Bankhouse Coffee on Jeff Davis in Long Beach have
wonderful selections of gourmet coffee beans.

check out all the stores, galleries, restaurants and boutiques in the area.
